T’is the season to be jolly and there’s no better place to celebrate the festive holiday season than at White Point! Building on the tremendous success of last year, Owners are invited to return to White Point Beach Resort this year, as our guests, on December 20th for our Vacation Club Christmas Party. We’ve got a terrific evening lined-up starting with a Reception at 6pm followed by a festive holiday dinner buffet prepared by Chef Alan and of course, Alex Vaughn will be on hand to entertain throughout the evening.

Space is limited for the Christmas Party and in an attempt to ensure as many Owners as possible are able to attend, until December 8th ( which is the deadline to RSVP), Owners are limited to 2 people per Owner. After December 8th, should space be available, Owners who have expressed interest in bringing additional family members will be contacted.

Ownership has its advantages!  Member Services wants to remind our Owners of two great programs that builds upon the humble beginnings of White Point Vacation Club.  The Vacation Club here at White Point started as a means of guests confirming their vacation time year after year, and since then we have grown to over 600 members!

The White Point Referral Program is a great way to introduce friends to the Vacation Club. 
They have the opportunity to stay on a mini-vacation here at White Point and learn more about
Vacation Club ownership while on a no-obligation presentation and tour.  As a thank you, we will provide you with a $100 credit to be used towards your maintenance fees.

The Stay Free with Friends Program is another opportunity for Owners to invite friends and bring
them with you to explore vacation planning and options.  You and your guests will be provided with a 2 bedroom Vacation Club Cottage (based on availability) to share and enjoy during your stay.   Your guests will participate in the newly designed, no obligation resort tour and Vacation Club presentation.

On Sunday August 24th, gather the family and join us for our “Incredible Picnic”. We’ve partnered up with Select Nova Scotia as the host for this years South Shore Incredible Picnic Site. In celebration of the many flavours of Nova Scotia, Chef Alan has prepared a delightful picnic menu including:

Introducing Tuesday Tutorials

Paula Currie, Manager of Member Services said:

“We’ve had a number of trial drop in sessions for our Owners and the feedback has been really positive. People are saying, ‘it’s just what we need’ so that’s great to hear”.

The office is open during regular office hours, with tours added to Monday and Thursday evenings. Paula also advises Owners to telephone first if they are making a special journey so that she can ensure undivided attention with a coordinator.

1. Make sure your RCI profile is set up. 
To get the most out of your Vacation Club Ownership, be sure to set up your customized RCI Profile. Visit RCI online at www.rci.com, click register now from the homepage. If you are just starting, you will be prompted for your RCI Membership Card Number. You would have received this with your official RCI welcome package.  If you have any questions or need assistance, you can call either of the following:

2. Use the Planning Pages in your RCI Catelogue!

This is a great resource and should be reviewed before you contact RCI or go online.  It will prompt you to consider amenities and vacation experiences that are important to you.

3. Know Your Reservation Windows and Plan Accordingly
By setting up your profile (Tip #1) with RCI, your reservation windows will be customized to your ownership plan.  The RCI reservation windows are as follows:
